101 Calaveras in Austin

Event Description

 

(Austin, TX)- Mexic-Arte Museum is celebrating the Day of the Dead with 101 hand-painted calaveras (skeletons). Beginning on August 13, 2014  one calavera will be painted on the Mexic-Arte Museum 5th street exterior wall. Name space below the painted calavera is available for purchase (10 character limit). A $25 purchase secures a hand-painted name below one calavera on the 101 Calaveras in Austin public mural. Each name will be painted 1-3 days after purchase.

Purchases may be made from August 14, 2014- November 23, 2014 online and at the Mexic-Arte Museum Store (http://www.mexic-artemuseum.org/visit).
